It would appear that the young Rangers fresh from their epic Scottish Cup Final with Vale of Leven set off on a mini tour of Ayrshire helping the local unemployed.
What’s striking in the report of the game v Ayr Thistle is the author stating:
” A passing spectator was struck by the game saying that the youths were perfect athletes and played very exact to the rules”.
This was the Founders of the Rangers who’s Club was only 5 years old laying down the very ethos on which our Club and reputation is built.
